Over the years, Blue Ribbon has done major remodeling projects on three houses I have owned: one deck rebuild, two bathroom remodels, an attic conversion, two very large kitchen remodels, and construction of a screened-in sunroom (which required alterations of rooflines). I'm a repeat customer because: 1. Mr. Hester is a straight shooter and honest about his estimates. 2. Several times he pointed out aspects of the job which I hadn't considered. That saved money sometimes, but more important the suggestions he made greatly improved the look and feel of the finished product. 3. ALL the projects resulted in spaces that were very comfortable to live in. 4. All his work is impeccable, but cabinetry work is gorgeous. I have referred several friends to Blue Ribbon Construction and they have been equally pleased with the results! |

Mr Hester is not only an excellent craftsman, but he has an experienced eye for design and innovation. After a major restoration and upgrade to our 75 year old home, we were so pleased that he was asked to do significant work on our family lake house. Same result- excellence!

He expanded living room, remodeled two bathrooms and two closets and remodeled kitchen as well. We could not have been happier with the work he did!

We wanted to replace a deck with a screen room since we had lost a big tree that had shaded it. George designed the room and constructed it. He included an exhaust fan and hood so that we could use our gas grill in the room. George was easy to work with and allowed me to help with some of the work. The project took somewhat longer than expected but it was well worth it. We can now enjoy being outside without being bothered by mosquitoes and grill in any kind of weather.
